January 9, 2008 - Street Fighter mania first started in the arcades, and it looks like it will make its revival there too. The latest issue of Famitsu confirms that Street Fighter IV will be released to arcades in Japan some time this year.

While SFIV was announced a few months back, there has been speculation on what platforms Capcom was targeting for the game. Due to the game"s impressive 3D visuals, a PS3 or Xbox 360 release seemed likely, but Capcom wouldn"t issue official word. The confirmation in Famitsu does nothing to address the issue of a home version, but at least we can now form a visual image of what a SFIV play session will be like.
